RVTA is seeking a community-minded individual to serve as a voluntary member of the River Valley Transit Authority Board.
This is an opportunity to play an important role in helping guide the future of public transportation throughout Lycoming County and the Greater Williamsport Area.
Board members help provide leadership and oversight while working with RVTA staff and fellow board members to support a transit system that is safe, reliable, accessible, efficient and affordable for the communities we serve.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Cares about our community and its residents
- Is interested in public transportation and community development
- Can bring thoughtful ideas and diverse perspectives to the Board
- Is willing to attend regular Board meetings and participate in the responsibilities of the position
- Is committed to serving the public and helping RVTA continue Getting You There
- Can offer perspective and join one or more of the following board committees; Executive Committee, Finance/Audit Committee, Planning/Operations Committee, Employee Relations Committee and Maintenance Committee
