Overview: River Valley Transit (RVT) is the fixed route public transit provider for Lycoming County. The seven (7) member RVTA Board is composed of appointed members from the City of Williamsport (5 members) and the County of Lycoming (2 members). RVT’s system is composed of a fully accessible fleet of 40 buses. RVT traditionally has one of the lowest transit fare structures in Pennsylvania in order to ensure accessible and affordable public transit service to those that need it.

Mission: To provide a safe, convenient, efficient, and affordable public transportation system to the citizens of the Greater Williamsport Area and Lycoming County.

Values: RVT’s values prioritize safety first with a strong emphasis on customer service. RVTA staff are committed to a culture of accountability, teamwork, and integrity.
