We have 2 options; RVT Rocket LOT and the all new Rocket Routes!
1. As in the past we are keeping the Rocket LOT bus. The “Park n Ride” option allows you to drive your car, park in any of the lots and hop on a RVT bus to go right downtown. Avoid the congestion and worrying about where to leave your car. The continous loop allows you to get on an off at any of the 10 stops. See list below. No fares will be collected and anyone may ride.
Hours the bus operates on the Fireworks Rocket LOT bus will be between 6pm and 9:30pm, pause until end of fireworks, then the service resumes operating from 10pm to 10:30pm.
The Rocket LOT bus will stop at the following parking lots;
- Mulberry at Third
- Market at Edwin
- Washington Blvd & Mulberry
- Mulberry & Ross
- Mulberry & Little League Blvd.
- Market & Edwin
- 5th St. Parking Lot
- Hepburn St. Lot
- Hepburn at Third
2. The all new Rocket Routes get you from any location along our fixed routes knows as “Nightline East” and “Nightline West.” If you live on the East side of Market Street look for the East Rocket and if you live on the West side look for the West Rocket. Get the stop locations and times you can catch the buses on our website page RVT Rocket Lot Routes. The West and East Rocket Routes will operate between 5pm and 9pm, pause for fireworks, then resume until 10:30pm. So after the fireworks head to Bay 12, located at 100 West Third Street right next to the Parking Garage and catch the bus to return home. No fares will be collected and anyone may ride.

Disclaimer: Fares are only being waived on the Fireworks bus routes noted above, not on any other fixed route provided by River Valley Transit Authority. The Fireworks Bus Route will only operate on July 4, 2023.
